About the Journal

IAUE Journal of Applied English Linguistics (IAUE-JAEL) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education through the Directorate of Research and Development. The journal is dedicated to advancing research, theory, and practice in applied linguistics with a specific focus on the English language. IAUE-JAEL provides a platform for scholars, linguists, educators, and researchers to publish original research articles, review papers, and applied studies in areas such as second language acquisition, English language teaching and learning, discourse and conversation analysis, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics, language assessment, English for specific purposes (ESP), and language policy related to English use.
